Art Contest
Spring 2010, Virginia Country Real Estate, Inc. sponsored the
3rd Annual "Springtime in Gloucester" Art Contest
The art contest was held for 4th and 5th grade students from two of Gloucester's elementary schools, which will rotate annually. This year, the schools chosen to participate were T.C. Walker and Petsworth Elementary.
Our goal is to enlighten these young people to the beauty of our great community and help them with their future education costs. The winners each received a $500 annuity scholarship from Virginia Country Real Estate, Inc. and our co-sponsors.
"Springtime in Gloucester" Art Contest entries were displayed on the Virginia Country Real Estate float in the Gloucester Daffodil Festival parade where the winners were announced.
